I want to get a pair of chronics. I'm 5'11 and 140lbs. I want my ski to be short because i like the handling of blades. would i be good with a 160?

ur only 140 so a 160 would be fine, but if you were a real man you would go 170

I ride a 176 and im the same height and weight as you. Dont be a pussy 160 is way too short, it will just take a couple days to get the feel for the 176

Hmmm...I think You would like something around 170+. I ski 175 ARV's and 181 Scratch fs and I am 5'9" about your weight. I had some 1080s back in the day that were 169's when twins started to first emerge, and wow, they were way to squirrely. I know it will feel wierd at first dude, but once you get the feel of real skis, you will really appreciate the extra stability that longer skis give you.

yeah dude just go for soemthing 170ish, you may want the shorter feel, but i guarantee you that you'll regret buying 160's if you do because you'll realize it isnt that much harder to get used to another 15 cm

get somthin' in the high 160s and you should be fine. and then next year, you can graduate to somthin bigger if you feel comfortable.

i'm gonna have to recommend the 165 trouble makers; cheap and lightweight.
All times are Eastern (-5)
