ok so my friends roommate thought it would be a good idea to put me on their family plan for verizon. it was all under her name so basically she put a lot of trust into me paying the bill. so i payed it on time every month and then her and her roommate(my friend) got in a huge fight and she decides that i am not worthy to be on her stupid plan. of course i don't have a co-signer or 300 dollars to give to the verizon people for a deposit for my own plan. so this girl takes me off the plan and puts me on my own plan. now wouldn't sha have to have my name and address for that? and isn't that illegal to do that without someone's consent? it pisses me off because i didn't want them to have any of my information and she gave it to them. i think i should sue her and verizon, but i don't know. what should i do?
they will probably say something like "you arent even in her family ergo you dont qualify for her family plan." not a good idea to sue verison over something like that, they are a huge corperation and can afford way better lawyers then you.
Well it's obviously illegal for her to put you on a plan of your own... It's also illegal for her to put you on her family plan since you are not family. I guess you could threaten to bring her to court for two things now...
verizon knew we weren't family when tey signed us up. so isn't that their fault for allowing it? i didn't know you actually had to be family for the family plan. i thought it was just shared lines
i'm not going to pay 300 fucking dollars for my own cell phone plan that i don't even want. of course i would spend 300 on a lawyer, but i never wanted this gay cell phone in the first place. she suggested it and i was like ok cuz my old one got taken away by my parents.
Read the terms of agreement before you do anything. And who are you pissed at anyways? I don't see where you are going with trying to sue Verizon... It's the other girl who signed you up for a plan. You should sue her for fraud.
