im getting tired of the graphic on my skis and i wanted to paint them. i was wondering if any one has experience in this matter. i was wondering what kind of paint i should use and what i need to do to the skis to prep them before i paint em.
And don't use spray paint unless you want the ghettoist looking skis around. Look for a special kind of spray paint that bonds to plastic, Like Krylon's Fusion series, sand your skis throuoghly with high-grit (fine) sand-paper. Paint on a warm, day sunny, dust-less day. Paint many light coats, you get the idea.
i did it to mine, i reckon they look pretty cool now. i used lots of coats of spray paint, and clear coat on top. but i havnt skied on them yet, so i dont know how it holds up
