i think they is a huge difference between being a christian and being religious. However, for the sake of not getting on a tangent I will just say this. Jamie Pierre is crazy and a really strong, athletic skier

he might not have broken lots of bones and that, but he's gotten countless concussions and head injuries. i think i read somewhere that he's started having seizures and stuff from all his high impact landings

You read wrong. He's had around 2 or 3 concussions and he doesn't suffer from seizures. And to the guy who said he has no skill, throw yourself off a 55 meter cliff and see what happens. Jamie is one of the most careful and calculating skiers out there.

He sure is good at falling from high places.

He's a decent skier too, but he appears to be a complete tool in most of the interviews I've seen.

I agree that he is careful and calculated in a buck nutty kind of way but he just comes off as being so damned arrogant. I also have to say he is completely and utterly devoid of style of any kind and this is saying a lot as I generally try pretty hard not to bash anyone's style. I'm just really tired of watching him fly ass backwards off cliff after cliff, sure it's ballsy as hell but I'd rather watch him hit cliffs half the size and stomp the odd landing than see him create endless massive bomb holes with his crazy flailed out airs. I think his first air over the road gap in tangerine dream is a pretty fine example of jamie pierre steeze and I don't much care for it myself, crazy as it undeniably is.

I sick of hearing jamies style this jamies style that. the ski industry need someone like jamie to through themselves off immortally high shit so the pleasure of veiwers everywhere. The guy is nuts. There really is no room for argument. I'd rather see Jamie Pierre drop 55m to his ass then Sammy Carlson do 7 switch-ups on a rail. nothing against Carlson, he's fucken talented and a great skier to, bot the "holy shit" factor of 55m to snow is insane. Basically Pierre is skarachuting without the parachute. But yeah he does come off as arrognat but i dont care what he has to say. I just want to see him fall of stuff.

do you guys remember thoe shots on those ice sculptures in rumania or so? the sculptures looked like huge needles and jamie almost tapped the tip, he proved me wrong because i thought always that he is just hucking himself of the biggest cliffs and has no style and talent.

Way off. In fact, go pick up the newest issue of SKIING mag, and they have a huge article all about him. He is suffering from seizures, so much so that he went to the Mayo clinic in Minnesota to have it checked out. They got so bad he was waking up with black eyes and bloody lips from seizures. BAM!

He's also one of the biggest stoners that has ever lived. A quote from the mag "Jamie would get himself blackout drunk the night before, wake up in the morning and make himself throwup, and take 3 or 4 bong rips...all before his morning coffee!"

A friend watched him go into a seizure in his bombhole at snowbird last season. His friends had to pull him out of his hole. I think that shows his hucking and his seizure problems are probably related. Definitely seems a little crazy.
