ok, when im editing a video how do i do the effect where the screen has red, orange, and yellow flashing around the sides of the shot or when it kinda flashes from clip to clip with red, orange, and yellow everywhere? i cant explain it, but its in some vids and im sure it cant be too hard to do.. i have adobe premier and i was wondering if i can do it with that?

its film burn, it happens naturally on 16mm film, so its gonna be hard to make it look right digitally. but you could make transparencies in photoshop and then take them into after affects and do some fancy pants animation?

or you could just find a film that has the effect, copy it, and then edit into your film.

its called a film burn like he said. Thers plenty of tutorials online for it. Try creativecow.com
