the thrusters are amazingle light, i was ghoing to buy them but i got scratches. i also looked at the foils too. i found it heavier, and more expensive. personally, i think the thrusters are a nice ski,ha, ur the same height as me, actually, ur like 2 inches taller
All i can say is my 1080's broke my second day on them. Got a second pair from the shop, lasted me two weeks. And that was with another ski in my quiver. The skis blow. The only reason they're the most "succesful" is because you get all these park rats who think they're cooler skis because they saw them on some pro.
I'd say for your size and weight, go with the thrusters. There's no doubt the foils are an AMAZINGLY sick ski, but at your size and weight, they're a little superflous...unless you're skiing a lot of pow.
Go with the thrusters, perfect size, good flex for your weight, and they perform in and out of the park.
dude it's impossible to tell what ski you need without knowing what kind of skiing you do..... do you ride back country? all mountain? are you a park rat? a rail monkey? what what what?!?!?!
