ice poles are the best, they won't bend and are almost unbreakable, they are light too. i had a pair for about 5 years and then somebody stole them. i think skiershop.com still sells them, i gotta get a new pair

I broke 2 pairs on my chest, believe me they are hard to break. but they have a great warranty.. they are great for tip stands.
