any1 know if a pair of Armada AR5's 160cm is a good pair of skis for me?..i am 5"6 and weight 120lb? I want them for park and for just carving and skiing..any1 recommend them?

170's will be better, but if your getting an awesome deal on 160's, and your still learning, they'd be fine.

If you're still growing even go 176 so that you won't have to buy new skis soon

i'm in grade 10 right now, and well 160's are looking good for my hight and size, i'm just scared that if i get the 170's i wont be able to do as many tricks and they would be just to big. If i did go with the 160's they should last quite a long time right? it's so hard to calculate right now, i mean i want them with me for a long time, cause i've been saving for these, and i want to do good at skiing this year. Can any1 agree with me that the 160's would be good and that they will stick with me for at least a couple of years?

yo ive got some ar5's for sale in 170, listen to everyone else, im the same size height wise and they are just Barely taller than me, but these skis are so effing light and the mounting point is just behind center so you wont have a lack of trick due to this ski.

yo chill out man. you gotta start somewhere. he wants to by some skis. cool. also id go with 170s if youre still growing. im 5 10 and i have 170s and they fit me perfect for this year but last year they didnt slow me down and i was 2 or 3 inches shorter. if you like shorter skis ill bet the 160s would be fine but if you want them to last more than 2 years id get 170s.

10cm wont make shit all difference for spinning and will be more stable and look better. centre mount them and they will be just as easy to do tricks and and u wont have to buy new skis next year. 170 is definately the way to go. Look at any pro. longer skis dont seem to make it harder for them to do tricks....
