Replying to Whats up with salomons mounting points?

Where the hell is the "reccomended" spot, most solomons go by the little line that is stamped in, that line on my ski is about 3.5 cm back from TRUE center that seems kinda far forward for the foils suppositive all mtn versitility. theres an indent in the ski that looks about right but salomon says that is just how the ski is made and means nothing....
I guess some of them come with arrows or something.. i have no idea what the hell is goin on, me and my tech couldnt figure out what was goin on with these things...
