New Rules about Skis on planes?

I am heading out to Montana in January and someone told me that they made a new rule about bringing your skis on the plane. Usually I put both my skis in a double ski bag and have no problem. But appartently airlines are only allowing you one pair of skis per bag. Anyone know of this rule or if it is a bunch of bull?

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

yeah skeepimp, they filed bankruptcy, but pretty much all that means is that the gov't will help them reorganize and get back on their feet.

Anyone know the regulations for Air Canada?

airlines are so gay. if a company goes belly up the government couldnt give a shit but if an airline company says they dont have enough money to afford beer for their pilots the government gives them millions of dollars. Yeah for the U.S

haha tan, that was bullshit. it was so funny. he told me when i met him at the airport 'dude, they made me pay an $80 bagging fee!' and when we got to vancouver i saw this giant condom over his skis, hahaha.
but dude, i bet that's bullshit, how would they be able to tell anyways untill they put it through the x-ray, but aftter that it's too late.

its a liability issue, and only on certain airlines. BTW, you shouldn't havta pay extra, because 1 extra bag of sports equipment is allowed

If you fly in Canada always use WestJet. All skiis, surfboards, ect are free. Plus 2 75 pound bags and 2 carry on. best deal anywhere. AirCanada is shit and I hate supporting corporate greed.

I just cam eback from a race in park city and gay ass southwest bitched at all of us to put our skis we had 3 and 4 to a bag in those gay ass little ski condom things. everybody flipped shit cause we were pretty sure they were gonna break our skis, and they wouldnt insure em either. so... 2 to a bag for southwest, and airlines r gay.

this is what i do when travelling with my skis. I've bought a huge snowboard bag which can hold like 3 snowbaords. Its got wheels and everything - super heavy duty bomb proof shit!! That way i can fit my skis in easily as well as my boots, poles and a whole heap of shit. I normally just take that a backpack which i bring on the plane.

The only reason the gov't gives the airlines money when they go bankrupt is cause they need them. The world needs the mass transportation that the airlines provide, so the gov't needs to have their backs.

I'm flying America West to Tahoe on Sunday and they won't even ship my skis (Dragons) since they are over 80' total dimensions (and anything between 62' and 80' they charge $80 for), so I have to use UPS Three Day Select

Yeah... when you file bankruptcy, that means the gov't is going to help you out of debt in one way or another. Goes for everyone, not just airline. Of course, it depends on what chapter you file under. That's the econ. lesson for today. Test next Tuesday.

Its bullshit when flying now. NW allows 2 checked bags and one carry on and your skis count as one checked. so that leave one bag for your boots and ski shit and then what are you supposed todo with your daily cloths?? shove them up your ass???? I remember back in the day when skis didnt count as luggage and you could have two carry-ons'. Bullshit. they are just trying to make more room under the plane so they can make extra money by contracting with fedex and ups and companies like that for shipping packages. Its all a conspiracy.
