placed a small order about 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago they charged my credit card. still no package. i gave em a call today and they told me one of the things i ordered they were sold out of. didnt send me an email or anything ever telling me this. i decided to just cancel the order, we'll see if they ever credit me back the money. what can i say classic getboards service for ya.
Although I've heard many poor comments about getboards, my one experience with them was great. I ordered a pair of skogen's and line reactors with next day air because i wanted them before that weekend. The next day the skis and bindings were at my door. I guess it's hit or miss with them.
i have ordered from them maybe 2-3 times in the past and those orders went fine. i ordered a shirt a beanie and a video. i didnt feel like waiting on the shirt or trying to find another that they had in stock so i cancelled the order. plus i figured it would take them another month to ship the revised order. and i dont have any local shops that are worth buying from. over priced and dont do much in the way of twin tip skiing.

I ordered a siver jacket, pants, and a few tshirts and sweatshirts about a week and a half ago and they got to my house yesterday so maybe you just got some bad luck. they did send the wrong color jacket, but I called and explained what happened and they were pretty cool about it. The only reason I ordered from there though versus D-Structure is that I had a 10% off thing, but I've ordered from getboards a few times with no problems.
same shit happened to me but over the phone with an online order:
they sent shit the wrong size... sent it back... they sent it wrong again... sent it back... sent it wrong to me for the 3rd time... sent it back... psshht!!
man, last time I ordered at getboards.com was when it was still chapell-skiboards.com...pretty much because it was the only online shop at the time. They were decent back then, but now it seems it has all gone to poop - :/
They just don't have a clue about shipping/ordering. When I ordered my skis, they were like, "we don't have them in stock now, but they'll be here at the end of the week."

Skis come without the t-shirt that had been promised to me.
jbij has received invaders, just not the 178's man. those are coming in tomorrow. a pre-order means that you pay for the skis in advance, and they ship to you WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT THE SHOP. they will be shipped to you the same day that jibij gets them. if you look on the line site it even says they are trying to ship skis out as quick as possible. jibij isn't stiffing you, so don't bitch about it. hold you goddamn horses boy.
getboards has the shittiest service EVER. i bought from them once a couple years ago and they didnt ship the skis for around 4 weeks after i placed the order. then it took 2 weeks to arrive here...so much for 3 day shipping you fuck bags. getboards can suck a dogs penis and then get shit on by a goat.
I bought a small siver field jacket from gb and they gave me a a large instead. they sneaky thing is that there was no tag inside, they had cut it out so I couldnt see the size.
haha damn really, i always took it pretty literally based on the spelling. ive been saying "jib-e-jay" the whole time. though it had somethin to do with josh being the owners name. o well
I ordered a video from them a while ago and it came 2 weeks late, so I was pretty pissed. But then another months later, I recieved a battered box with the same video, even though I had only ordered one, and they charged me for it! They wouldn't take it back either because it was damaged!
meh just bringing this back for an update. 3 phone calls, 2 emails, and a month and a half later i was finally credited my money for the order i never recieved. man what a pain. the owner ended up emailing me apologizing and said hed take 30% off my next clothing order. well unless he decideds skis or boots fall under clothing im not placing another order with em.
they did in this case, but they charged it 2 weeks after i placed the order. my order was never shipped out. i would guess if your order was instock and would arrive on time they would probably wait til it was shipped out
Oh fuck me, I called both Jibij and D-Structure to see if they have the items I wanted in stock and they were sold out. So I decided to order from getboards hoping it will work out for me. 2 weeks later nothing. I hope you fuckers get burned down.
