uh, your ip address is assigned by your internet service provider. call them and see what they can do for you.

why would you need to. the only scenarios i see are:
a) you got banned from either a porn site or video game server and want back in
b) you....

ok, all i can think of right now is 'a'. am i in the ballpark?

you find out your routers adress go to it and allow the maximimum number of ports, then pick one and your cool, you go through your router to change the whole deal to,
