Towards the end of the season i started going really huge in the park, my 03 v pros apparently couldn't take the beating, i have ripped the bindings out of the skis 3 times. i cannot afford have this happen again. Someeone told me that the skis are without a metal topsheet for weight savings which would explain the lack of bite for the screws. I also have marker race stock bindings which could also be the problem (they are in the trash can). Has anyone else had this problem?
I ripped bindings out of my pistols multiple times, mostly because K2 produces some pretty low quality skis. There was no metal mounting sheet in them either, I dont know how they expected bindings to stay in. But yeah if you already ripped them out 3 times I would say your skis are shot and to put them in the garbage as well.
I rode the pistols for 2 seasons, and absolutely thrashed them, and the bindings never ripped out so i dunno wat u guys do to them but i've never had that happen to me or to anyone i kno
maybe your shop tech is a faggot and cant mount shit, i was doing rodeos of catracks and backflips off cornices with pistols on and never had a problem. Your a faggot. and dont even tell me you ski harder than I do, or i will laugh in your face.
yeah, i have some v-pros too. i had the same problem with mine this year, i had to get them re-mounted. i dont know if it was a shit mounting job the first time, because i took them to a different place the second time. they seem to be doing alright, but i have destroyed the tail on one of them, the base is seperating from the ski and edges. i guess thats what happens after 3 years of hard abuse and switch landing.
