and no water ramps don't count, i know skiings not about spin to win bt im just curious, biggest iv herd is switch 1260 at the jumpotomus, and the attempt switch 1440 by tanner hall, anyone gone bigger?
someone in this thread put a link to the vid of the kid doin a 1800. 1800s or bigger dont look cool but they are impressive, not ur avergae guy can spin that much
i think the rule of thumb for snow blades is to count each revolution as a 180. so technically the 1800 that a blader threw is only a 900. sucks, i know.
that motherfuckin 1800 was sick, proper old school skiier baby, u guys who insult him are just jealous cos ur not that good, coodos to that guy, hes fuckin awesome
ps. your mums in my bed right now
I'd say that some of the old school skiiers could be throwin down some pretty big spins. If you do a search for "Cool 29 Min Video" or something a guy posted you watch how skiing first started and how it's progressed over the years. In the beginning of that the guys are throwin 5's and possibly 7's off of flat ground. If they hit a table and spin like made I bet they could pull of some huge shit.

man, there was this french kid in my age group and at the 04/05 juniors at silverstar. and he was just winding up in big air and im pretty sure he was doing 1440's. But it may have been a 1260. But still, it was crazy.
Daln said that the Norwegian Morten flugheim have done a 1800 back in 92. Actually in the Norwegian championships in freestyle in 94' he stomped the 1800, and tried 2160. Sadly, he fell, but managed to finish his rotation. I don't think anyone can hook up with that, thread closed!
i watched a kid named dusty land 1260s off the bottom kicker at winter park. he got so much rotation it was amazing. he almost made it to 1440 a couple times, but i never saw him land one. But i would bet that if he was on a bigger jump, he could esily stick it. that kid is sick. i dont know how he hasn't been picked up by a sponsor yet.
i believe i remember seeing footage at the end of Berman's second movie of one of the Schrab brothers (those crazy freaks from the widmest) do a double misty at blackcomb in the summer time back in like 2001.
