Is this invitation only now? Heard a rumor and wasn't sure. Doesn't make sense to me, but does anyone know? Maybe this has been asked. Any help is appreciated.
If it isn't invitational when is registration? Thanks, Cheers

its not invite only..its got pre qual list and qualifiers just as always...registration will open at some point soon i presume

the key word in there is "open" that means its not an invitational it is open to all athletes

If it was the Us Open and it changed to an invite only, It would stop being called an open, and switched to an invitational.

There's only a certain amount of spots available for pre-qualifiers so they choose from there.

It's filled anyways...

that would be the gayest thing ever if the open was invite only. how are kids suppose to get exposure if there isn't a couple huge open/non invite only comps
