Just bought sum Look p12's, and cant figure out if i should keep the lifter plates on or off. Have heard that on, they will help your pipe skiing(also all mtn) and then again, they will make your center of gravity higher so rails will be harder, Any input would be appreciated

If you're going to be in the park at all, lose the lift. If you're a good enough skiier you can handle all-mountain w/o them.

It depends, whta do u plan to do the most on your skis and what kind of skis are they and how much do u weigh and how tall are you?

I dont put lifters. Lifter are used for powder and mountain skiing. Its for when you carve, you boot will not catch in the snow.
It does raise your center of gravity, reducing you aerial stability.
O suggest not to be on platings

Im a fairly new skier. Been skiing for 3 years but I didnt get out much last year, but this season I'm getting alot more serious about I now have a new job and extra cash so i was able to buy all the stuff i wanted. I got the look px12 ti with wide brakes and lifters (mounted on 06 pe's). I will prob be 80% all mountain 20% park this year, so im going to give it a go with them on and see what its like. then i want to take them off later on in the season to compair. I prob wont notice much of a difference.... but time will tell.
the guy at my local shop suggested i try it this way.
But since your going to be in the park more im not really sure what to suggest. though i'd prob take them off if i was really into doing rails.

the only thing lifters do is add levrage, allowing you to carve better. no biggie..

No lifters unless you plan on skiing groomers.
