google earth is probably the coolest thing, you can explore mad ski resorts and the pictures are very detailed in most places (salt lake for example)

HOLY SHIT. Doing some reading about Area 51. The protected area is the size of Rhode Island and Connecticut combined.

Not bad considering it doesn't "exist".

as i said before put on the keyhole community BBS check box and look at things outside of area 51, you can see craters from nuclear bomb testing. and then click more and it will take you to a bbs where people attempt to give an explanation

The Sedan Crater was the largest of the Project Plowshare series of underground nuclear blasts, 23 in all, to determine the feasibility of using nuclear devices to excavate large amounts of earth. Better living with nukes!
Yeah, sure, it all looked good on paper. A huge savings versus conventional explosives, something like a 3000% difference. And as the overlay shows, it works too. Moved a whole bunch of earth just by drilling one hole 635' deep and placing a 100 kiloton device in the bottom. With the press of one button, a crater 320 feet deep and 1,280 feet in diameter appears! Over 12 million tons of earth have just been displaced. And as a bonus, you only have 8 million tons of earth to deal with, because 4 million tons of it just kinda drifted away......

I just wonder why it took them 23 times to realize why this wouldn't work?

that crater field is so intense... i saw in a "faked moon landing" video, since disproven, that they thought the flimings of the moon surface was done there... any good conspiracy needs area 51.

i saw a faked moon landing documentary a while back, and it has since been disproven, but in the video, they suspected that the filming of the lunar surface was done there at area 51. sorry.
