Rasta

I dunno if this is the direction you guys want the skis to go, but I think a ski with a Rasta theme, or atleast the colors would be sick. Nobody has done it yet, Line was close, but they went with another design instead... it would be unique and probably well recepted, i saw tons of kids rocking rasta stuff in the park yesterday... plus i like the whole idea of it... I am just throwing an idea out there tho, let me know what you think...

I'm sure they'd sell like hot cakes because for some reason it seems like all the kids on this site love rasta colors. I'm not exactly into it, but they'd sell.

the rasta thing would be cool, but the implications of things associated with the Rasta culture do not go well with the company mission and outward rep.

we dont want to make skis that may encourage use of ilicit drugs (marijuana) that is commonly associated with rasta.

^ yea that is the only drawback, but we wouldnt have to put weed leaves on it or anything like that... just the colors... i know a lot of kids that support rasta and such but dont smoke, ashley b is a prime example, she has never touched the stuff and i have never seen more rasta on a person in my life than on her...

keep it realistic guys..its huge that we are being givin the oppurtunity to have some influence on this, and this group is defanitely capable of coming up with something sick, so keep throwin out the serious ideas and goin with it

well, even if we kept this years line up of skis, we have 7 ski designs to work with you could do a golden gate on one, a rasta on one, math on one, fingerprint on one... and still have 3 ski designs left to make...

I dont know about the rasta ski... Cuz by the time the ski gets done its gonna be overplayed and kids are gonna be sporting black emo things! hahaha Im tellin u guys

^ i dont think so man, and we should atleast keep it in mind, if by the end of the season or what ever comes around and it seems like its fading then we do something else, but isnt whats "in" what we should be basing all of our ideas around. I mean of course originality and creativity are super important but something thats creative but wack wont work.... o no... i just rambled...
