what size skis do you think i should get for park? i am 5'1. normally i've been skiing a 165mm pocket rocket, but there thrashed. new to park.
also i really want to get a pair of seth pistols for big mountain, but a girl friend of mine says the 169mm are going to be a pretty big ski. anybody think the jump from 165 to 169 on a vicious or a pistol is that big?
any why your at it, what kind of skis do you think i should get?

a 169 vicious as a park ski for someone who is 5'1 doesn't sound like the greastes idea to me.

^ she wants those for powder, not park.
i'm 5'4 and i have 159 fujatives for park. i wish i had the 169s though. so if you're a little shorter than me, you might want something around 160.

for park i was thinking about the dynastar trouble makers, the arw, new public enemies, or steels pro model. i've got a pair of last years pe's 159mm and they seem a bit on the short side especially.
for big mountain i really like the seth pistols, but it is really hard to find a 159mm. plus they don't make that size for a lot of fat skis, i'd have a lot more choices if i skied 169mm. mostly back country skiing and the gnar up in crested butte. need something that is quick responsive, good in powder, can plow through anything and has some edges when you get on hardpack steeps. big troubles are supposed to be nice also. the cool thing about the pocket rockets i've had is that they are light and for trucking backcountry style its kinda nice.

If you think 159 pes are short definetly go with 169 for any ski. the pes are a little longer then 159, and if you feel there short and 10cm increase would be good.

haven't really had a chance to check them out. they seem like they'd been a pretty good ski as well. i keep hearing mixed reviews about lines skis though. the arw and arv is kinda what i was thinking and then getting a pair of seth pistols or the vicious and mounting my fritschi's on them for back country

while we are on the subject, whats everyone using as far as boots. getting some new boots this year. since my foot is really small and i don't want to end up in junior race boots again i was thinking about the tecnica diablo race pro 110. lange makes a girls freeride boot this year, but it doesn't seem like it will match up.
