i picked up my sketchbook for the first time in like a year and now i can't draw anywhere near as good as before. i can't even draw a fucking hand anymore!! how do i get my talent back?

Then start sketching out some ideas.
Then make those ideas more detailed. And so on and so forth.

Hmmm... unless it's natural talent you're going to have do to like with any other talent, just keep building up from basic to the point you where good at.

copy other drawings and that will help you get the right mindset for it, thats what i did in art class. build your way up. scetch for ten minutes every night, believe me, this is the best advice i can give you, its just ten minutes and it makes a huge difference

^thanks. oh and just if you're wondering i do have natural talent, like i used to be able to win art contests and people would ask me if i was taught by professionals. It's just wierd. i stopped drawing for a while and now i cant draw right anymore.

That's weird because I also had natural talent at water colors (lame I know) and drawing in general. But I haven't done it in months which is a trend I discovered... But if I could, I could just go and draw at the same level I normally would.

i used to be a fucken good drawer back in like grade 6 and 7 and shit then i just stopped drawing and i tried for the first time in like 9 years and it was friggin horrible.
