i saw it tonite, it was pretty good, and i got a free shirt and a 2 for 1 at whistler, so it was worth the money. unfortunately, i didn't win the skis or goggles or snowboard (i would have sold it but i'd like the money), or the bindings etc etc etc.

where is the freeskiing footage taken from? is there much of WM's own footy. or the usual borrowed main PBP shots?

you have no idea how wrong you are....consider how many people know about skiing right now. not many, relative to population. then think about 50+ years ago--practically nobody. by doing what he did, WM brought skiing to people who would never have even thought about skiing otherwise. it's questionable whether or not skiing would even be where it is today without wm to give it some exposure in the past. it's true that his movies have gotten extremely commercial and use a lot of footy from other companies, etc. but you can be sure that the concept of a "ski video" wouldn't exist without warren. think about it--a video watching other people do something that you had noo part in creating. it's a fairly ridiculous (though amazing) concept, and it was warren's idea over 50 years ago. give respect where it's due.
