the london ride landing was very short - even with a relatively slow run in people were landing almost on the flat. I'd say any scoring was more self preservation than anything else.
the pic's a bit sh*t but it should give some idea of how small the run out was
I'm going to punch you in your babymaker and make it totally impossible for you to ever make offspring
I don't have a personal thing with you but dude, did you just say Jon was getting worse? He's getting older so one he'll eventually start to decline.....but not right fucking now.
yeah on the 16th but the whole thing looked so sketch and the mc was frikkin crap so I didn't bother watching after the first few jumps. The show was basically a bunch of ski shops and travel agencies trying to flog their stuff - no ski or snowboard manufacturers at all.
buddy, everytime i see his comp results he is getting lower and lower, and i dont mean 3rd 2nd first, i mean 5th 6th 7th. ive noticed that he isnt being judged fairly. he should be winning the x games just by his unnatural and natural flairs with switch 9's and his amazing style, he should definately be owning tanner!
geeezzz if you would have read the other thread on this subject, you might have taken into account that Jon only turned up on the Sunday (the contest was over two days), he only had 3 jumps on it, was skiing on his fat skis and had been drinking until 6 that morning.
Plus the kicker was only 7 or 8 meters or something.
I wouldnt look at this comp as the be all and end all of skiing, it was just some people getting together to have some fun.
If you would actually think about that last part for a moment, it might occur to you that that is why people ski is it not? TO HAVE FUN!
I wouldnt judge Jon on his performance in this contest. I didnt see you there....were you too busy hating on something while people were out having fun?
apparently jon was completely fucked from the night before... a painful reality to face on a saturday in london is that youre just not gonna perform as well as you normally could. so i think his placing cannot be seen as any reflection on his ability.
also, a load of UK people kicked his ass... whats that about?! pssshhhh...
and my final thought was... it wasnt at earls court whoever asked, it was at kensington olympia.
K, i think Jon skied sick and he should have got scored higher...the fact that he had a hangover shouldn't even register on peoples minds as 90% of the people jumpind that day had a hangover.
I think one of the reasons Jon scored low was because he did the same trick 3 times in a row. It was sick, also the comp looked like it was pretty hard to judge
