talked to them a week ago. they were trying to tell me it was almost sold. thought it was a gay schpeal (sic) but they said they were planning to open at christmas. now their site is down, which i think would be a good thing, for revamping.....
the thing that confused me was with the last warning they had, the terms were that he had to improve the hill, not just sell it, by december 11. so are they planning on putting a new lift in by christmas??????? or is selling it good enough?
i hope joe has no involvement

As of 12 am December 14, 2005, Hemlock Valley Resort is officially dead. No agreement was signed, and the hill was shut down.
The land is not crown land now. It is privately held lease land, or something to that extent. It won't be crown land until the lease is up, which is in 45 years.
We still have to party and build big ass jumps on it.

the way I understood it was that they had to show the gov. proof that the developments were in the process ... so I guess they wanted a reciept for deposit on a new lift?
I dunno, sad situation. Joe should have sold YEARS AGO! Fuck.
and on that note anyone.. anyone hiring?

If it's still private land, then it won't have anyone to bother us. Why would a private owner hire someone to check out what's going on on empty useless land if there's no income.
