Christy's is a huge corporation you should support local/independent ski shops. Plus christy's drug test and there is no such thing as a ski tech that doesn't rock the ganj.
deff buy from a local or independent shop christys is a large corperation keep the true skiers alive and buy your shit from and indepdent shop or company.
seeing as every one knows they are a large corporation, the answer is yes they are reliable and dependable. yo uwill get your shit if you order from them
As far as "core" skies they carry: Armada, Line
Other twins: Dynastar, Volkl, K2, Rossi, Solomon
...the shop by me has chill guys that know their shit and hook it up. Not sure about all other shops? They are not corperate either they are an LLC (almost sure) and only in Colorado, not really that big.
my problem with "core and independent" companies is that the yare usually run my brainless highschool dropouts who couldn't cut it at lie and decided to start a company or shop. Most of these companies are poorly run compared to a big corporation. How did the big guys get big in the first place? Not through stupidity and bad service.
they were so chill. i called them up on the phone and the dude even tried on different sizes of the pants i wanted to help me figure out what would fit best. then the pants got here like 2 days after i ordered. great customer service.
The reason I asked specifically for Christys is that they are the only retailer I have found for the product that I am looking for. If D-Structure och Jibij carried it, I would definetly go there first.
the christy sports in the springs are pretty chill, i just got PEs and Made'N AKs from them even though sometimes they get their stuff in late. they may be pretty big in CO and UT but they act like small local shops without the BS hippies n whatnot.
haha wow. i can't believe you just put that. you needed a degree to be able to read? congratulations. most people could read proficiently by the third grade.
as far as this thread goes though, dennis is a nice guy and willing to help people out but i've found that every time i go in there for something i end up talking to a dumbass who probably has only skied five days in their lives. yeah i understand that it's retail, but please.
