I mean if some band came out, and they sounded like they were straight out of the 70's, and would have been just as good as Led Zeppelin per say, do you think they would have a big audience in todays terms?

They wouldn't have as big of an audience because people these days don't appreciate good music, that's why Britney Spears and 50 Cent are topping the charts now. So the big decline in music quality may have more to do with the consumers than the record companies, I think. But to answer your question, I would be a part of that audience!

I think that if someone like zeppelin was around today, then they wouldnt play the same type of music. I think they would still be popular, but they would adapt and make music fitting for the time period.

mainstream music today is generally overproduced, so their sound physically would not be the same.

no because its out of context and therefore schticky. which is why i can't take the black crowes seriously and snobbily laugh at them.
