so i get ssx on tour and im playin it and after a while my xbox makes a wierd noise and then it goes to a screen that says Theres a Problem with the disc you are using. It may be dirty or damaged. figuring there was actually a problem with the disc i bring it back to the store i bought it at and get a new one in exchange. once again playin for a little while and the same thing happens...what the hell do i do

The lense (disc reader) Is dirty or scratched. Buy a new xbox.

are there circular scratches on the cd? if so dont put any more games in that thing! and get a new one

yep, happened to my friend, call up microsoft and get a new cd reader thingy, it may be free, maybe not

did you try other games? i assume it would be all games and not just ssx. one time this happened to my ps2 and it ended up there was some small chunk of dirt or dust or w.e jammed on the disc tray somewhere. if youre just a normal person, check it out, blow on it n shit, if ur technologically inclined, maybe unscrew ur tray and check it out, clean it, and hope it works. sorry i dont have a definate answer.

xactly the problem...try to get around by washing the disk with windex, wipe it in circles
