How do the 1080 boots, and the X-wave 6, or 7 compare?
Ive searched some other threads but no one really knew, or agreed.
They said 1080 is made cheaply and low quality... but it may just seem that way because they are trying to make the boot softer and more absorbing, by using thinner plastics.
the teneighty boot is similar to the x wave series. they are a bit softer, and have the shock absorbing bootboard for freestyle skiing. they are very comfortable boots, and they are warm. if you like a stiffer boot or are a more powerful skier, check out the pro model guns instead.
It's the same thing as the Xwave six minus the rubber bootboard.
Teneighty Foils aren't cheap boots, but they are lower-end on the traditional "performance" scale, and do fit kinda sloppy. The Gun promodel boot is better, but it's stiffer and is built on a different, slightly narrower/more shapely last.
