Hi i new hear, i mostly read stuff. I was just wondering, while your on the subject, has anybody tried canoe for a box or rail? My dad use to work at Old Town Canoe so i have a bunch of somewhat high density platics laying around. Thanks for the help.
depending on the hardness of it, it may work well, just countersink the screws so you wont catch any edges. Alotta resorts use lexan and HDPE which is a high density plastic, i think cutting boards are also the same material
i dont have pics cause i dont feel like moving them outside to get pics. but i have a 18 ft flat metal bar 2 ten foot pvc rails soon to be 3. a 12 ft box thats pretty high and wide a 20ft round flat down and very soon a 23 ft c-box wooooo. they dont look as perfect as the two flat boxes but thats cause we didnt wanna spend the extra cash on paint and plywood for the sides. the c-box we may spring for it. once i set up my rail park ill post some pics. ohhh and were do people here host their pics? like what site? cause i know how to link pics but jsut need a host site to put em on. thanks
