You can use High Density Plastic called HDPE found at USPlastics

is lexan really expensive i read somewhere that its like 250 a sheet or am i wrong

Ya its extremely expensive because its bullet proof, a cheaper solution is HDPE like i said at US plastics, Just got some for my 12 foot flat box 2 24" X 48" for like 56 bucks including shipping

Where in the store? Ive never seen any type of plastic sheeting of any kind in home depot

lexan is only good if you are going to have metal edges or "coping" because the edges will start to split and crack. it is fairly brittle.
