Is newschoolers really only freestyle?

I keep forgetting that this site is supposed to be freestyle oriented. I think its good that we are not so onesided because freestyle is starting to coincide with the backcountry...

yea i really like big mountain stuff. there's really not much more i enjoy than a good cliff drop or some nice lines. but i also like park stuff too so im glad i can get like everything here

don't confuse freestyle with freeskiing. freestyle is moguls. NS is definitely not mogul oriented.

i think if everybody had big mountains near them, this site would have a lot more big mountain talk on it. but everybody has a park to ski at so that is what you here more about.

I think most of us end up like that. This is what the phrase of "Newschool is a state of mind, not a style of skiing" means to me. Even once you discover that the rest of the mountain exists, you still play on it and have style.

Hell, Newschoolers is 16 years old. The 14 year olds that started here are 30.
