Give me a report on Lutsen from your experience. Would it be worth a 8hr drive? How's the park? Are the runs really longer than anywhere else in Midwest? Etc.
What about just skiing? Is it really longer runs and such? I've been to Granitepeak, the sister resort, but the runs there aren't all that long. Any idea how they compare?
I like to do everything, and sometimes we like to just goof around outside the park trying to find something to hit on a run. Longer runs mean less time riding the lift.
yeah when i was there with church our group was the only group with twin tips there and they had no park and all of the runs are pretty much just long and steep pretty fun tho
Lutsen is pretty fun, definitely long runs, and this year will be the first year with their new park, which is shown on the Lutsen park thread, it can be a pretty fun place for just skiing around, I would agree with Beas though, if you can get there when there is actually snow, then youwould be much better off because then some of the glades will be more fun and runs will be less icy in general.
