Big guy 1260 or 4frnt stl

I'm a bigger guy 6ft 220 and am currently ridding the yellow 1260's with the nija's on them. They are 177. I'm looking to get last years 4frnt stl and was wondering if they are any stiffer than my lines. I ski in Indiana so all i have is the park, groomers, and ice. I know these are really soft skis but i had no problem with my 1260's except if i was straightlining a hill and making a hard carve then they were a little squirley. My lines aren't center mounted but they are close. I probally spend 60% park 40% all mt. Would the Stl's be any stiffer and what size 183 or 177.

i don;t think there gonna be any stiffer, but going from 177 to 183 will help.

If you weigh 220, get a stiffer ski.

I know people told me that i should get stiffer ski but i really liked my lines i just wanted something just a hair stiffer. The stls won't be any softer will they. When i flex the stl in the store they where way harder to flex than my 1260. i want the stl's but what else would u recommend thats a little stiffer.

flexing skis in store can sometimes be decieving.
if you like line and soft an last years 186 EP Pro's
the new 187 or even a 177 Chronic wide
last years 182 scratch bc
volkl karma
and if your into 4frnt the 180msp
that's a couple options.

why are the recommendations all for wide skis. I don't ski really any powder. We got one 18 inch dump last year. Won't the wider waist make it a tad bit slower when i intiate turns and harder in the mogals.

all the skis i mentioned are under 90mm waist.
with the exception of the msp at 92.
if you riding east coast anything around 80-90 won't make a huge difference you just get a more stable platform.
yeah mogul skis are like 66mm waist, but you can still rip through moguls on a 86mm waist ski, and as fas as edge to edge transition as it's a tad slower, but not that noticable it is when you have a 100mm waist ski. But still... your not racing gates with them are you? Then it should matter that much, you can still carve huge turns on a 86mm waist ski, and rip up the groomers.

without being too rude, indiana doesn't have real moguls either, so don't worry about that. the added width will help with stability, which in my opinion would be more valuable in your case.
someone your size needs a stiffer ski, and thats all there is to it. sorry. you will thank us after skiing them.
