I just remounted a pair of STLs to the center point and at first i thought the shop messed it up but in fact, the boot sole lines up like it should.. however, there is about 1.5 inches more tail (from the heel piece to the tail) than than that is tip (from the toe piece to the tip). Personally i'm not crazy about trying these out so i guess my question to you guys is first did anybody else have this problem and do you think its better to have 3 sets of holes and move them back a little bit or shouldi leave them as it is.
if you work at a shop why didnt you mount them yourself? also if you work at a shop why not just try them once winter comes and if you really hate them then move them the extra centimeter or whatever?
I should know better than to ask actual questions on this site.. all people do it dance around the matter at hand
I didnlt mount them myself because i am not certified to mount skis so they don't allow me too... secondly I will ride them and see how they feel no matter what anybody on here says but I hope that people that have a clue will give me their input rather than everyboth else just state the obviouse
What kind of bindings? If it's something with a heelpiece that's a lot shorter (in length) than the toe piece, your sole will still be good but the front and back of your bindings will be off.

The ones I used are look pivots.. thats why.. if i had used a salomon or tyrolia or somthing like that it would have been different
