how do i burn avi files to a dvd, is there anything i can download for free?

you use your software that came with the DVD burner. Usually Nero or Sonic.

I have sonic and its called Record Now. you just drag the avi file into the window and burn. if you have a newer dvd player you should be able to play the avi file.

ive put avi files to a dvd-r and they play fine in my PS2

NERO VISION works fine for me but it takes foreeeeevvvverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to transcode the stupid things

depends... if you have an early version 1 then maybe not. mine will not play certain disc's.

the newer ones play all dvd formats, +r, -r, +-rw.

so just use your software that came with the dvd burner and drop the AVI file into the window and click burn.
