I tried it once, but I didn't really think of what happens when you try to walk across a snowy skatepark in ski boots. That cement becomes slick as hell with a little snow on it! If you can find a way to make it work, please let me know, cause the skatepark here has a ledge that I really want to slide.
yeah at my skatepark i guess people go there all the time, ive seen snowboarders doing stuff there, we have a rail down a 9 stair i think, then a kinked rail and a bunch of ledges and smaller rails and the park is sorta sloped in a bunch of places so theres always places to get speed.
but ive always thought id be so cool if ski areas made there parks like a skatepark, like have it all downhill but still be able to go in all directions and stuff.
when our skatepark was built 3 years ago, snowboarders took all the rails(unscrewed them from the ground) and used them for the winter, then the next spring they put them back
Im gonna when we have snow...I'm using the starting ramp to get speed and want to slide an a frame concrete box...(has metal bars on the sides)
now I just need snow
Oh someone ever thought about building a little jump of their garage making a little cliff...and build a landing underneath? that should be so sick to do spins?!
