blades = not fun..and they also act like brakes in powder...they weight distribution on blades for powder has got to be terrible, so i am guessing no. just like everything else that has to do with blades.
way back in the day when i was younger, before i knew the difference between good and bad, i tried it, fell on my face, no it doesnt work, and lowrider still sucks.
I saw a guy from the chairlift at sunshine. It was the same but really slow, and he like had to jump for each turn. snowblading in powder:a waste of powder.
It's a waste I know, but a buddy of mine was broke last season and was riding 99.9's cause he was broke. The only thing that was good about them in powder was that he could rip through the tightest trees, I was fucking amazed. Shit that I couldn't get through, he'd grab a tree with one hand and whip around. Fucking nuts.
Other than that, he floundered like a fat chick having sex.
cant really think of those as blades. they were developed for high quantity backcountry laps. theyre short, and fat, making them weigh less, but by shortening not toooo much, they are managable. and as far as blading goes, in general, its a waste. so much energy to get no respect. and i just everyone to know out there, if you tele blades like iv seen people do before, i will use my ski as a sword and cut something off of you.
THE BIG FOOT. i think there was a blade called that or sometin and it had like toes on the front it was funny. but i think that might of been wide enough i dono imjust jugin it on the name
