mine are +7.5 on 179s, but i think im gonna move em back to about +4. but they are a siiiick ski, like everyone's said, a much more versatile ski than you would expect.
what size ski to get is dictated buy what u will be using them for.there poretty much a big mtn ski so get the 189 since you will probably be using them for bc and powder
You would be really really surprised. They are so much fun in a park and laying down big arcs at mach ten because you never boot out with the width. When it is super damned icey they will chatter a bit since they are wider and softer.
Maybe some other people on here can share their experiences on them with you.
Good luck getting the hands on a pair, we are out.
thx, i meant they are designed as a big mtn ski,but stil handle the rest of the mountain very well and are a lot of fun to use on other parts of the mountain besdes bc
Chucks are trendy, unless you've been wearing them since you were a kid.
Also, mounting forward might be 'trendy', but I think it helps many skis to perform better too. I can't imagine skiing a 189 Made'n at midsole. Some people might like it, but I wouldn't.
I know it has many positives, but it seems like so many kids on here will center mount just so they can say "I center mounted so I can ski better" so they sound like they know what they're talking about and sound like they're better than they are.
