Should I buy another lense as well? One of the Iridiums perhaps? Are they better? Gold or black? I have no idea. I wish the Oakley website gave some sort of explanation of the different types of lenses and what they are good for.

Iridiums are real dark. Black and Gold Iridium are both like useless unless you ski on the sun. Blue iridium is ok for medium light though. VR28 is pretty much ok for everything, it's just not mirrored, so if you like to check your makeup in your lenses, it's not for you.

i honestly think the best lens for a "sunny" day is the fire lens. they are mirrored so they are fine on those real sunny days but the tint is light enough where if it turns a bit cloudy during the day, you're not completely fucked.

ALrighty, then I guess I will just stick with what I have. I am a little annoyed though. I got Matte black with the VR28 lenses from the Oakley site for $130, meanwhile the persimmon are $95, yet the lenses separately are the same price, $40. Why is there a $35 difference?
