Yeah, it's people like him that make me dislike religion, it is really the cause of 90% of the violence in the world. Think of KKK, every war in the middle east, the crusades, the list goes on. And now there's people like him forcing their beliefs down everyone's throats because THEIR GOD IS REAL! That's fine that you have a religion, but please just keep it to yourself and I'll make sure not to think in your church.

I believe in the possiblity of everything, the actuality of nothing. I don't think people are capable of understanding why we are really here, and religion is just a feeble attempt to make meaning.

I have a question for all your Christians:
Why would your all knowing and all fair god create a world in which there is so much suffering and unjust behaviour. If he surely is all knowing he must have known that he world in which he was about to crate was going to cause so many horrible things. There for he is no just because he would have created an unjust world.
I believe that most religion in general is crutch for people when they get hurt. This becomes a problem when they start to ignore the things that are happening in the world around them and just turn to their God. “It’s the morphine of the people”.

Everyone seems to have an answer for that. They might be all right, but its really possible to defend any argument, so its really unanswerable. At least in my opinion.

Without suffering we wouldn't know grace my friend. I do believe that God is fair and just, that is simply my answer and if you want to hear more, message me or whatever. If not, I'm not going to hold anything against you. In fact, have a great season!

I'm a Christian...here's how I see it...God is more concerned with how you love and treat people rather than how much you go to church, whether or not you listen to Tool on sundays, or whether or not you throw back a few beers.

If god is only concerned with how you treat and love people, then why does on insist on calling oneself a christian? why can't one just live their life in a peaceful manner in order to be granted entrance into a sort of heaven?

Christian. It is the only one that makes any sense. Is it easier to believe that there is a God that created the Universe, or is it easier to blieve that something came from nothing like evolutionists do.

I was raised roman catholic, but now i wanna say that i consider myself agnostic. For the most part im just against organized religion as a whole, just because i see it as to much of a system of control that has been used to separate people or justify a means to an end. I mean religion has been used to justify everything genicide, slavery, wars, torture, hate, ect... I'm not about to say that there is no good in religion I cant deny that people derive a lot of strength and comfort in their beliefs, and i have to admit im almost jealous of those people who have such confidence in their faith because they can always derive support from it. However I'm positive that whatever message jesus or god or what/whomever was trying to convey its not the one that we see today before us. The only time there probably was true christianity was when it was illegal and before constantine adopted and used it to win a war. Since then whatever message there was it has been warped and twisted and used for so many different things. I find it pathetic that people have imposed so many human qualities on god, saying that he disaproves of this or hates that. I mean if there is this all powerful all knowing being isnt it reasonable to assume that he would be above all these trivial things we argue over. I dont know thats my rant im sure no ones gonna read it cause its to long, but yah..

I dont think that one should believe in something just because it is easy to.
