Ok, I've been to N* for the past 6 years and if i'm not mistaken, there's not one cliff on the whole mtn. Is this correct or am i looking in the wrong areas? I mean, is there even a run there where i can get like a 15 foot drop off? please don't reply with N* sucks. i know it sucks
N* sucks, sorry...i just had too. Anyway, I have never have had a pass there but I have skied there a lot and dont know of any good cliff lines...the only lines they have are lift lines.
One time a ski patroller there told me about some cliff, it had some name like big daddy or some shit. I think it is prob. ob though, its out of the backside, but I don't know where.
hahaha, there's one rock off the backside, like right at the top to skiers left, but you have to hike your ass to it and when I said rock i meant it, probably 12' high in low snow with a parking lot landing, so basically northstar's terrain is laughable.
Yeah I know the rock your talking about. It's a joke...Maybe 10 feet at the max once it snows. It's pretty simple, If you like cliffs....don't go to northstar.
It's amazing how the geological features change SOOOO much between Donner and North Lake! Look at the Back of Mt. Lincoln and then 20 minutes away theres 4 mountains without rocks at all? It's crazy.
