I just moved to park city from the east coast. As you may know the east is brutally cold in the winter, and I was wondering if it's the same here. I'm getting two jackets this year a down one, and I don't know what the other one will be. This jacket will be lighter, and primarily used in the oark, the down for pow, and do you think this jacket should be insulated considering Park City's climate?
I dont think it gets that cold here, especially in the vally, park city is cooler though. in the midwest it got colder than a bastard and we had a little thing called "wind chill" that i do not miss at all.
ya im so glad i dont have to go through that shit again, last year it was down to about -60 someitmes becuz of that shit. i lived in mn last year so that wut im talking about
ull prolly use ur puffy for high pressure days and ur shell type jacket for when it snows. puffs get to heavy and wet in pow, way better just to layer and have a nice waterproof shells.
that sounds quite unrealistic and drastic, especially for a change in temp. I remeber someone telling me last fall that the farmers almanac told them that Utah wasn't going to get any snow, I think they dropped the ball on that prediction.
The seasonal forecast says there is a 60% chance temperatures will be warmer than usual - not that they are going to be 60% warmer. Seasonal forecasts are really wild guesses anyway.
