I have 04-05 salomon 1080s (181cm) and i have not yet had the bindings mounted. i was thinking of having them mounted about half an inch off center, i ride alot of park, but also alot of normal skiing, WHERE SHOULD I MOUNT THE BINDINGS ON THE SKI?
Eh, I wouldnt put myself in that 90-100 range, I'd say around 80-85 park and I mounted at true center.
I just like the feel of a centered ski, it feels like its all equal and, just right. I like jibbin around on stuff while ridin all mountain. It's just my thing.
if you mount a ski dead center, you are effectively saying goodbye to any performance characteristics your ski had. mounting a couple of centimeters up from the suggested point is fine, that doesn't screw shit up too badly, but mounting something dead center makes any ski ride like a complete shit pile.
