only thing im willing to pay full price on is boots. everything else I bargain shop. New Jacket/Pants together this year only run me 170. Haven't bought any sticks or bindings yet, but that will probably be max, 250 ish.

well i bought a sessions jacket for 180 off the computer. but i ran to tj maxx today and got a better jacket with 20000mm waterproofing for 70 so im sending my jacket back and i just saved a bunch of money. i spent 140 on a jacket and pants. then 300 on skis boots and bindings. so i spent 440 and got a brand new setup this year. so im stoked.

I'm 16 but work two jobs, so I can spend whatever I want on clothes and don't need to hear shit about my "mommy" buying me stuff. It's all on my own budget.
525 for skis, 140 for bindings, 60 poles, 200 jacket, 140 pants. no new boots(400 last season), 70x2 for goggles, 40x2 on gloves.

Not takin it personal at all. I re-did it all this year, not every year, this year just happened to be a total re-do(basically) of my entire setup. I grew a bunch and needed to size up and get some new tech.
The ski fashion is important to me, but I can totally wear my jacket and pants next year too.
But, after everything being bought, and totally paid off, I still have between 3-4 grand in the bank after a summer of hardwork.
Money dosen't always equal happiness but it sure equals options.

that's cool. i need all new shit too, firstly, because i've never had a decent jacket/pants with good waterproofing (always just the columbia-style jazz. as for my goggles and helmet, mad oldschool carrera shizznit. not so steezy. and i need a second pair of skis and why not go for boots too since i get safe deals
