uhh, no. this means that the wound has started to heal over the barbell. you want to keep moving the piercing (twisting it) so that this doesnt happen. it will be healed completly in 6 months.. or 1 month if it's an oral piercing. but dont let it not be able to move...

He's right, whenever you get those crusties on your jewelry, you need to soak and clean those off right away. That's the body trying to fight against a foreign agent, it's the scarring equivalent for a puncture wound. Are you talking about an eyebrow piercing? I've got mine, but i have a captive beat, barbells are notoriously harder to clean for an eyebrow piercing. Oral piercings such as a lip piercing doesn't heal in a month however, they can actually take up to a year even. But your tongue heals in about that time.

i got it in the first week of september. im not having any crusties at all. i just need to pull on it a bit harder to take it out

I guess it depends on how lubricated it was, I stopped getting crusties after about 3 months, but now I have them again because I slept on it really hard and injured it lol.
