the whole mountain? doubtful, maybe all of the 'vista' chair which for those of us who skied in in the 80's was F chair.

Maybe they should invest that cash in more lifts to prevent 20-30 minute waits. Also get a new park crew so that they can actually fix and maintain the park. Also they should excavate some of the runs so they are steep.

The only think Northstar locals are good at is overestimating the size of their hits. Everyone was telling me they were 75+, but in actuality they were barely pushing 55.

first off, lets keep vp on the dl, secondly whoever told you 75 is a joke, i get uncomfortable calling the moonshine hits 40ft. Still big enough for me to get knocked out, or maybe too small, either way.

Yea, there are way too many kook boarders who talk themselves on the tech box line they just did. Also the freeride team seems kind of stuck up there.

The freeride team is kinda day, alpine's team owns them.. Uhh the biggest hit i saw last year at norfstar was 65 sooo. and after all the money they put into there vilage i kinda doubt they will step the park up.

I don't see why they are putting in more lodging when they can't even handle the amount of people they have now.

I may be ignorant here but wouldn't 2.5 million bucks buy you a lot more than a nicer park? i mean where does that money go? a couple rails here and there, a new snow cat, a new pipe cutter. that still probably doesnt add up to a million. or does it?

i went to northstar last season and the park was sooo dangerous.... there were like 100 people in the park, there were no lines cause everybody just went when they wanted to.... and the boxes were in bad shape..... so i wouldnt be suprised if they made it bigger

the new village is going to be awesome, the only upgrade to the mountain i've heard of was replacing lookout (pioneer) with a quad and rerouting it. The park should still be off that lift if you ask me. The park is super dangerous, but I rarely saw anyone when hitting the bigger jumps, i'm glad it's a seperate run.
All times are Eastern (-5)
