how does the ps2 work online? do you have to pay to play the games like madden? or anything if any of you play ps2 on line please help im looking into purchasing an adapter

first you buy an adapter. then, you connect it to your modem/router. you don't have to pay anything (except in madden if you want to start some gigantic dynasty thing). other games, like socoms, tonyhawk, all other sports games, its all free. (although in socom3 you need a creditcard to really play, just to check if your of age. they take out like $1, then put it back 3 days later). i have it.
