we get all the burton stuff at Bear Creek and i don't like them and niether do many other people who i know. it may just be preference, but everyone says they dont like how they fit. personally, i hate how all helmets feel/fit, so i wouldn't really know. i have heard though, that they don't hold up very well to impacts.. may just be a stupid rumor though.
i had a purple one for like 2 years. it had a great fit, but the ventilation system broke down the instant i touched it, so on the colder days with a lot of wind you got a brainfreeze instantly.
i tried on the hifi with the headphones at a shop. it is so damn comfortable and pretty light. the headphones give a spot for youre ears to go plus they are look like good quality. some people on this site said theyre huge but they dont look that big.
i havent tried any of the new ones but i tried on a few of the old ones and they were super comfy but the only r.e.d helmet i like this year is the plaid one i would buy that one if i were you
i got a hi fi. it feels super light and comfy. i haven't ridden with it yet, so i can't really give a good review. i hate helmets but if they save my head then it's worth it. i've had too many concusions
i have a 2 year old hi-fi (probably n eeds to be replaced)..its nice, and i took a pretty bad spill 2 years ago (broke my back). if i hadnt been wearing that, i probably would have been in a coma or something, so thanks RED! im getting the ordinance audio hat this season (not replacing the helmet just a new hat), ill let u know how that works out.
yep RED helemts fit my head way better then Giro, plus the trace is a summer/winterhelmet. the hifi is so light its like nothing is on your head/ but the trace is easily the most stylish.
