Saving usernames and/or passwords:

I apologize if this topic has already been brought up, but i didn't do a search, just checked a couple pages back. But, is there any way that we could change the sign-in area to offer "save username" and/or "save password" options? Does anyone else think this would be a decent idea? It's not like it's any big deal, but i figure if it didn't take to long to add, might be worth it. NS is the only site or thing that needs a sign-on i can think of that doesn't have a feature like this.
