what you should do is NOT buy boots online thats a bad idea unless you went to a shop and have tried them all on and know exactly what fits you. which i assume you didn't cuz your asking about converting US shoe sizes to mondo point
yeah you shouldnt buy boots witout trying them on first. ive got the green teneighty boots from two years ago i think. they fit my wide feet really well, i have about a 10/10.5 and got size 28.. theyre a little big
i have a size 11 shoe, and size 28 in the 1080 boot. if you're going to order them online, fine, but go to a shop just to try them on at least. that's what i did.
ya, nomen is right again, buying online (boots ne way) is pretty sketch. but if thats wut u gotta do, go to the local shop and try on a size 26 (26.5 isnt ne longer). u want ur boot to be as tight as possible and a 26 should be the perfect fit. but def go to a shop and try on different sizes to see which one feels the best. thats the answer to that q, but i just want to remind u that there r other boots out there and not to save $$$ on this portion of ur outfit. boots r just as important as the skis they control.
do you have super narrow low-volume feet or why the hell would you do that?
and for the record, heat-modling 1080 boots is a waste of time. all it does is break them in a bit faster. be a man, and break them in the old fashioned way. 3 days on the hill and there will be no difference.
or you can just buy boots that fit correctly and make sure your heal is where it belongs. for what its worth, i am one of those "experts" at the shop that would heat mold your boots for you. a vast majority of the public probably is pretty clueless and needs the help, but if you use common sense the heat molding is not necessary at all.
because it fits my foot perfectly. a shitload of people have too big of boots. but dude i just got these and they are heaven i feel like my foot is literally part of the ski .
i'm glad they fit well... however, you do realize how unconventional it is to put a bigger liner into a smaller shell. i was just curious what the specific reasoning for it was.
im sure taylor while explain the reasoning behind this once he sees this thread, i got them from him but its straight up sex for me.. 1080s with flames in the liners plus a better liner equals sex for the feet.
