from the trick tip forum:
§ Set a spin; start with a 7. Actually spin the straight 7 a couple of times to get really comfortable with it.
§ Then, go and set a 7 again; don't set any differently. But as you leave the trampoline and unwind your shoulders, reach for a leading safety grab. So if you spin left, reach with your left arm to your left foot. You don't actually have to grab. This will send you corked without you having to set cork or anything. It'll make the cork really smooth and even, and you'll probably land it first try.
§ The next step is figuring out what the fuck you just did to set a perfect cork 7. Just keep throwing them, doing the same thing, until you get familiar enough with the rotation that you no longer need to reach for the grab as a handicap, and you can instead just set the cork 7 easily. It's a much better way to learn cork, provided you don't use the crutch of grabbing leading safety forever. It's like a really steezy training wheel. Like a training wheel with spinners, in 2003.
ive also heard if you spin left, put your head on your left shoulder or vice versa if you spin right. i think it helps you cork spin
